What is MindSet28?
Unlike the majority of other coaching programs and organisations who only look at leadership development as just one-dimensional (horizontally across behaviour), we have created the first and only three-dimensional leadership assessment and development program in the region: MindSet28. In doing so, we specialise particularly in vertical development (cognitive, social/emotional), which is where leadership development really sits and will continue to sit in the future. We often say horizontal development is about transferring information (filling up your proverbial backpack), while vertical development is about transformation (growing the size of your backpack).

The MindSet28 Executive Cohort
One of the biggest challenges that leaders face is a sense of loneliness and the feeling of ”doing it by themselves”. Ilume has created a peer-to-peer MindSet28 Executive Cohort to bring together like-minded executive leaders who wish to accelerate their learning and development. Our MindSet28 cohort gives leaders a genuine sense of belonging, helps to expand their networks, and offers a platform to work through challenges and opportunities together with their peers in an intimate and confidential environment.

Program structure
Alongside this, there is an individual executive coaching program for the duration of the leadership team program for each member. In many cases, this is carried on for a further period of six months.
Executive Coaching
Where traditional coaching focuses just on behavioural change (the horizontal or quantitative dimension) such as mental capacity and competence (what you know), our MindSet28 framework opens you up to a new world of cognitive and social/emotional development (the vertical or qualitative dimension) such as mental growth, mental fluidity, capability and self-awareness (who you are). We believe that three-dimensional development is the future of executive coaching as modern leaders increasingly face greater uncertainty and complexity in their operating environments. By growing a bigger mind, you will be equipped with the tools, mindset and ability to overcome any challenges you face – now and in the future.

The old management textbooks no longer apply, and so business leaders are left to navigate their own pathway through the unknown. It can be challenging and lonely. And when faced with stress and uncertainty we are all pre-programmed to revert to our default settings. Even if they don’t work particularly well. Undoing these patterns is one of the most important things you can do to achieve true personal growth.

- You will learn how to be. Any leader can choose to use his or her competencies and behaviours, but they cannot choose how to be; that’s a vertical dimension – it’s who they are.

This exclusive partnership allows the ilume team to deliver the transformational Radical Candor workshops for businesses in the Australian and New Zealand markets.
We present Radical Candor to your organisation, introducing the core concepts, building a shared vocabulary and sharing stories that will help your team relate to the ideas.
